#63 Attend a Masquerade Ball
For as long as I can remember I've always dreamed of attending a masquerade ball, wearing an elegant gown and mask and dancing the night away... I've always wanted to dance in public but my sheer lack of confidence has always stopped me. That's why I think a masquerade ball would be perfect as my face would be hidden and I wouldn't have to fear people knowing who I am. I cannot tell you how much that level of privacy/secrecy appeals to me. It's also very sneaky being able to hide oneself in full view that I can't help but love the thought of it...
It does sound very appealing, i always end up hovering around those masks when i go into fancy dress shops

With regard to dancing, that's why so many people never dance until they lower their inhibitions enough with alcohol.

Yeah that's true, though I'd need the mask because I don't drink enough alcohol for my inhibitions to be lowered lol!

I don't think they're scary at all but if you're not into them then there really is no point in you going to one lol

DeleteI think it sounds amazing. Like something that only happens in books? Being in a mask and being kissed by a tall, mysterious stranger. Is that silly? It sounds silly.
ReplyDeleteHaha no it doesn't sound silly at all! It sounds quite romantic actually. I can't help but think of Phantom of the Opera or being in Venice when I think of masquerade balls :)
