Yikes!

So I was bored one night and decided to do a bit of Facebook stalking. As you do. And I came across some really shocking things...

  • A teenage mother of two kids: she's about nineteen years old now and her kids are about four and six...
  • Another teenage mother being friends with guys who boast about wanting to get guns and shoot "gays" for fun...
  • And a guy who spends his weekends pretending to be Vin Diesal performing stunts in his car in a local park...

What's worse? Is that I used to go to school with all of them...

*shudder*

  2. Haha, this is one of the many reasons I deactivated my facebook account.. not just the fact that those people are out there and you can see all of their crazy antics, but that they can see my much more normal antics in return lol

    1. Lol! I'm actually extremely tempted to delete mine too. Though I've taken the first step by actually making mine extremely private so that people can't see anything I do or say

  4. I knew a woman who had three kids by 18, but a six year old at 19...yeah......This is why I don't spend much time on Facebook. Though it turns out most of the people I used to know ended up kind of normal. Nearly all of them have kids, and most are married, but that's what I expected, and they had the...decency? to wait until school was over to do it. Though there were rumours of a girl being pregnant and engaged in her last year.

    1. I've pretty much blocked everyone I went to school with. I'm not judging those who have teenage pregnancies, it just shocked me.

  5. Oh dear! I hate to think what some of the people I went to school with are doing nowadays...That's one of the good things about blogging for me; it reminds me that there are still good people in the world!

  6. WHAT THE HECK!? What is wrong with people!? I am honestly surprised sometimes that I haven't become a hermit, just staying inside, absolutely terrified to go out and interact with the crazy people of the world. My goodness.

  8. Lol yeah, and the funny part is probably that the people who should be the least proud of themselves for becoming what they are boast about themselves on FB the most.

  9. My 10 year reunion is next year and I'm not sure if I want to go. Half of it is wondering what people will think of what I've done with my life for the last 10 years, and then the other part is seeing what they've done with theirs...

    1. I don't envy you, I have no idea if I would go to my reunion if there ever is one either.

  10. Oh wow. I have a few of those teenage mom friends on facebook, but nothing like the guys boasting about shooting "gays." I think I would unfriend anyone that started talking like that on facebook.

    1. Don't worry, I'm not friends with them. Their profiles were public and that's how I seen it. People have no shame or decency and will publish anything.

    1. I can't really comment because I've no idea what age you'd be in Grade 9 but I'm assuming it's young?

  12. the teenage pregnancies didn't shook me (I know this girl who I used to go to school got preggers when she was fifteen and has twins now. I can't imagine how hard her life must be though) , the shooting at guys did! dafuq is wrong with people?

    1. Yeah I can imagine her life must be hard, but then again, not everyone regrets having kids at a young age. Some people love it so it just depends on who you are really.

I've no idea, I couldn't believe it when I read it!

  13. There are lots of nasty videos circulating on Facebook. I try to avoid watching them. but sometimes, I can't help myself. Once, there was this video, a mother kicking (and almost killing) her child.. o_O .. It was horrible! And just like you... the worse part is that I know her. :(

What is wrong with these people???
