It might just be me, but I think the people who comment on Youtube can be very very cruel. I remember writing a comment once and getting completely slated by other people. I couldn't believe it! I therefore decided to never upload anything or comment again - it's just too intimidating. Instead I just use Youtube to watch movie trailers, listen to songs and watch my favourite Youtubers...
The first of which is Lindsey Stirling, a violinist with a twist. I've already spammed you enough with a few of her songs but I don't apologise because they are awesome.
The second is Kingsley, a ranting and raving reviewer of anything and everything. He's not afraid to speak his mind and is actually pretty fucking hilarious.
The third is Bubbz, a Northern Irish/Chinese hair and make-up guru. She's young and pretty and makes everything look so simple when it's definitely not! She also has the two cutest dogs I've ever seen.

The forth is ScottishDuck, a Scottish video game Let's Player. I started watching his vids as I didn't know how to pass a certain level in a game and I've been a fan ever since.
The fifh is Judy, who is another hair and make-up guru. She also makes everything look so simple and inspires me to try new things. I think her and her hubby are quite rich or at least get sponsored a lot but they are pretty funny and cute to watch.
The sixth is HISHE, a channel that remakes the endings of films or just random vids of Superman and Batman talking in a cafe. Either way, it's always hilarious!
So those are who I am subscribed to on Youtube, any suggestions to other great Youtubers?
P.s I was subscribed to Jenna Marbles and Ray William Johnson but stopped watching their videos as I started to find them incredibly annoying...
the comments on youtube are SO HARSH like where do all these haters come from? even the simplest videos that makes me think "you can't possibly say hateful things here" have hateful comments. LOL sad really.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea! And yes, innocent videos were there is nothing horrible at all in them have got comments like, "this is so stupid" etc.

DeleteYouTube trolls are the worst.
ReplyDeleteI very rarely have any issues with them on my own videos due to having comment moderation turned on. I've found that if the trolls don't get their "instant gratification" of their comment automatically posting they tend to move along and leave me be.
Took me two years to convince my Hubby to use that feature on his own YouTube page. He finally enabled it after a small number of trolls were giving him problems on one particular video of our old cat. They were accusing him of being abusive, when it very clearly is NOT the case. And it really upset him. Not only does he now have the comment moderation enabled, but other commenters have really been giving the trolls hell for their uncalled for remarks. So I guess there are some decent people out there on YouTube after all...
Aww I'm so sorry! I can just imagine how awful that was for you and your husband! I'm glad that other people realised how ridiculous the trolls were being and stood up for you both.

DeleteYou Tube, Twitter, Yahoo, every news article you can possibly find...stupid internet trolls are everywhere. I guess there's a lot of angry people out there who need to insult/attack others (anonymously, of course) in order to feel better about themselves. Sad how much time anergy people waste on being cruel.

DeleteJust go onto any rock/metal music video, and you have this WAR going on, about either how rock/metal are the best, the band in question sucks, or vice versa respectively.

I absolutely love HISHE. I never really comment on Youtube but even though there are a lot of douches on there, there is the occasional nice person. I mostly use it for listening to music.

DeleteI rarely comment on YouTube for the same reasons. There are some very funny characters on there but some quite spiteful ones too. The joys of the internet!
