E is for Elves

If I could be anything in the world, it would be an elf

To me, elves are beautiful, elegant, graceful, intelligent and talented in everything they do. They are the main reason as to why I love archery so much as their main weapon of choice is a bow and arrow.

Everytime they are mentioned in Fantasy novels, I just want to fall through the pages and enter their world. They live in the most beautiful lands imaginable and are always so respectful of nature too.

I can just imagine myself being an elf, running through the trees with such speed and agility, rejoicing in my freedom...

  1. Elves are awesome - especially Legolas and Arwen!

I think I'd be an elf too if I could be any fantasy creature (I already have the ears lol and who wouldn't want to live somewhere as beautiful as Rivendell!)

  2. I like that they tend to be depicted as living for hundreds or even thousands of years.

  15. You sound as if you have a very vivid imagination, which is cool. But let me play the proverbial Devil's advocate for a second. What would happen if you wished to be an elf and suddenly were, only to find yourself laboring away in the North Pole for Santa?

    1. Haha I'd hate that! I guess I'd have to make do with looking after the reindeer like Dudley Moore lol!

  16. The only elves I know of in novels or movies are the ones from Harry Potter and the ones from LOTR. And though I wouldn't necessarily be one from the former, I could definitely see how the latter is desirable. LEGOLAS
