Times Square

Central Park

  3. I WANT TO GO TO NY SO BAD. I WANT TO EAT A WHOLE LOAD OF BAGELS, PIZZA AND HOT DOGS. I also want to shop until I collapse with exhaustion and take 100000 photos of tall buildings. xxxxx

  4. I would love to visit central park, and find Central Perk somewhere, but I'm going to have to deal with a fear of heights before I get anywhere near scyscrapers. Though even I would love to see the view from the Empire State.

  6. I got back from LA about three weeks ago now, it was my first trip to America and I love love LOVED it. If one of your reasons to see NY is Friends, then I'd actually recommend going to Los Angeles. I went on a VIP tour of Warner Bros Studios, where they actually have the real Central Perk set! I did a post about it... http://charbuckss.blogspot.com/2012/02/los-angeles-day2-getty-centerwarner.html :) x

  7. The whole "oh god so many people how do i move" aspect of big cities really attracts me for some reason. Not to live there or something, but to visit every once in a while. It gives off a bit of a thrill, doesn't it?

  8. I'm not going to lie...all of those things about NY are so true. I am always amazed when I go just how fast it is. I mean the pace is incredible. If you aren't speed walking you are getting run over. lol. It is one of my favorite places to visit. :) I hope you make it there one day.

  10. I would LOVE to visit New York just once in my life but it's not a place I would want to move to. Too big, too loud, too crowdy and let's not pretend it isn't dirty :P but central park looks so beautiful!

  12. My one trip to NYC was short, about 36 hours, so I didn't get to really be a good tourist. One warning: watch out for those cabbies! lol Seriously, they will be stopped at a red light and still try to run you down and yell at you because you're still in their way. lol

    1. Oh dear that doesn't sound good! Thanks for the tip! I'm sure every place has horror stories though lol

    2. Haha! True. The cabbies in San Francisco are just scary to ride with. They may not try to run you down, but they try to give you one heck of a roller coaster ride. LOL
